For the first time this year, there will also be an experience centre in the province of Flevoland at the time of the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week. Ester van de Linde is this year’s programme manager for Flevoland and organises the DSFW from 9 to 13 October in the recently opened Verspil-me-niet centre at Neringpassage 25 in Lelystad, from Circulair Lelystad and in cooperation with the Verspil-me-niet centre.
At the Verspil-me-niet centre, reuse and sustainability are key issues. The centre offers a wide range of activities and products that contribute to a circular economy. Their aim is to combat waste and promote sustainable lifestyles through education, workshops and a shop with carefully selected products. So a super great location to draw attention to sustainable fashion during DSFW!
During these days, you can experience all kinds of things around sustainable fashion! The shop will be open every day and sustainable fashion will be for sale, you can watch various documentaries, there will be a panel discussion, various workshops will be given by local entrepreneurs and Creative Hub The Cube in the Cube and on Sunday we will close with a great fashion show! For opening hours, see the programme.
If you are curious about all activities or would like to sign up for one, follow Circulair Lelystad on Facebook or Instagram or check the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week website (https://www.events.dsfw.nl/lelystad/).
