Between September 1 and October 19, OBA is organizing drop-in sessions for independent use of sewing machines at various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Over these seven weeks, sewing machines will be available at these four locations on two specific time slots each week: weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location offers three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials like sewing thread, fabric remnants, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work on their own projects independently! A supervisor will be present during each session to assist if required.
