OBA will be hosting drop-in sessions from September 1 through October 19 for independent use of sewing machines at various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Throughout these seven weeks, people can access sewing machines at these four locations during two specific time slots per week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials such as sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work independently on their own projects! A supervisor will be present during each session to assist if necessary.
