From September 1 to October 19, OBA will host open sessions for independent sewing machine use at various maker spaces in its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. During these seven weeks, participants can access sewing machines at the four locations during two specific time slots per week. These slots include weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) and Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location is equipped with three sewing machines, an overlock machine, and essential supplies like thread, fabric scraps, and a small selection of patterns. Participants can work on their own projects independently! A supervisor will be available during each session to provide assistance if needed.
