OBA is organizing drop-in sessions from September 1 to October 19 for independent use of sewing machines in various maker spaces at its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. During these seven weeks, people can access sewing machines at these four locations during two specific time slots each week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, an overlock machine, and basic materials like sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work independently on their own projects! A supervisor will be available during each session to assist if needed.
