OBA is organizing drop-in sessions from September 1 through October 19 for the independent use of sewing machines at various maker spaces across its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Throughout these seven weeks, sewing machines will be available at these four locations during two designated time slots each week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials such as sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work independently on their own projects! A supervisor will be present during each session to provide support if needed.
