OBA is organizing drop-in sessions for the independent use of sewing machines from September 1 to October 19 at various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Throughout these seven weeks, people can access sewing machines at the above-mentioned four locations during two specific time slots each week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials such as sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work on their own projects independently! A supervisor will be available during each session to provide support if necessary.
