A new wardrobe as well as a tidy closet at the same time? Come Saturday 22 September to the Great Clothing Swap of the Clothing loop: a cosy, packed afternoon with fine music, racks full of clothes to browse and the atmospheric Tolhuistuin as background.
All types of clothes are welcome, as this clothing swap is for m/f/x. We will make sure that all clothes handed in are sorted by category, so you can have a nice targeted browse. Men’s clothes from yourself, your parter or your dad are more than welcome, by the way, so don’t forget to bring them!
The rules of the game
- Bring your best clothing items, minimum 3 and maximum 7 pieces (this max number does not apply to menswear, we can use more of those!).
- For every piece you bring, you get a point.
- With your points, you can pick other garments.
- The points remain valid all day.
- The clothes brought in must meet a few requirements:
- clean and washed
- no holes or stains
- not shrunken or washed out
- ultra-fastfashion (SHEIN, Atmosphere, Boohoo, Primark) is not welcome.
And further:
Clothing that has really run out ends up on the ‘last chance table’, so it can still be used for any DIY projects for the enthusiast.
Shoes, bags and accessories are also exchangeable, lingerie is not.
The Slow Fashion Show
This edition of the Great Clothes Swap will also feature The Slow Fashion Show to help it blossom into one big sustainable fashion party. More info on this will follow soon!
We will divide the clothes that remain between Clothing Loop swap bags and various charities.
