Jampis works with local workshops. These workshops have a long experience and proximity that allows them to visit them very often, to find together the ideal fabric and to make all the necessary tests until they find the perfect result. In this way, they promote the local economy, avoiding sweatshops and reducing the environmental impact.
Thus, their pyjamas’ design and originality, the organic fabric’s creation, the dyeing, the pattern making, and assembly have been entirely produced within Barcelona and its nearby surroundings.
In addition, Jampis was born with a very social purpose: to contribute not only to a more sustainable world but also to children and the future of our society. As far away as it may seem, millions of children still live on the streets, and Jampis dreams that this will one day cease to happen. For this reason, they have committed to donating €2 for every Jampis they sell to the NGO Kings and Queens of Kibera so that they can invest it in building beds, buying mattresses and sheets… improving the rest of the children in their care and thus contributing to their mission: to provide a safe place for the children sleeping on the streets and give them a new home and education.
