The largest part of the production happens in Bulgaria, where the sew and knitwear factories are owned by this Belgian company for 100%. This way good working conditions can be assured.
Furore belongs to the holding Flanders Fashion Design International, which has a quality label for its brands. The company has more than 50 years of experience in creating and designing fashion for self-conscious women. Every Furore garment is made of qualitative materials and composed by professional craftsmen. The Italian suppliers of these fabrics have a good and long collaboration with Furore for a long time.
Qualitative clothes in general get an extra zoom level, more seam value and neeps on place that can be adjusted by a seamstress. This way your garment fits your body perfectly. Clothes that are comfortable will make you shine and will last longer.
The various collections match perfectly, both the colour pallets and the silhouettes. The Furore collection is built of fabrics that can be worn during the several seasons for 80% and is filled with 10% warm fabrics and 10% light voiles.
The basis for this are na tural fibres such as silk, wool, linnen and cotton or a mixture of these with artificial fibres such as viscose, cupro en triacetate. Triacetate is also called vegan silk because the cellulose fibre is of natural sources. The 100% viscose and garns mixed with viscose have also a natural origin and provide comfort to wear. The additional use of a small percentage polyester or polyamide minimises the chance of pilling. Furore collaborates with trustworthy manufacturers of innovative and highly qualitative polyesters for the creation of simple recyclable mixes made of polyester and polyamide. COSH! likes viscose and artificial fabrics such as polyester and polyamide less, but we are very enthusiastic about how Furore aims to work with timeless and durable fabrics for slow fashion that will last.
The scarves and blouses are made out of silk for 100% zijde, but the pants and dresses consist out of a mix of polyester, viscose and elastane. Furore also makes pants out of a mix of acetate and cupro.
To recycle more easily, it is better to have products that consist merely out of one fibre. When you have a mix of different materials, a part of the fibres get lost when you make new textile. We look forward to newly planned material evolutions that are on the future planning of Furore.
Furore uses wool to make scarves and pullovers and silk for blouses. This means that a part of the collection is not vegan
‘With Furore we lift the collections over the seasons’ says Veerle Baert. Their ‘Never Out of Stock’ of ‘The Official’ collection consists of timeless essentials that are not bound by seasons or trends. This way,the brand deals with the problem of overstocks. Next to their powerful collection called ‘ The Collection’, they have slime unique and surprising ‘Limited Edition’ items.
Most fashion labels are trying to predict the future of trends and produce hoping the clients will buy. The sales are for those items that did not get sold. What is difficult to sell, is sold on sales. What Is left over, is burnt or sold in stocks sales or outlets to make place for the new collection in the shop.
Designers like Furore that sell timeless clothes leave the traditional fashion seasons behind. No novelties every two weeks, but clothes that last and are timeless.
