Working Conditions & living wages 

Evermind works closely with a small number of Turkish producers, maintaining long-term partnerships with them. The brand remains in direct contact with its producers and regularly visits the production sites.

The brand places great importance on actively involving the team in its vision for greater sustainability. All employees are encouraged to adopt more environmentally friendly practices – both in the workplace and in their daily lives. This includes promoting emission-free transport like cycling, waste separation, a vegan diet, and reducing paper usage. Training sessions help the team further minimise their ecological footprint.

Evermind is OCS-certified (ORGANIC CONTENT STANDARD). The label guarantees that products contain 95 – 100% organic material. The small proportion of polyester fibres poses an invisible risk of releasing microplastics. If you want to learn more about the synthetic fibre, read our article. 

The fibres are complemented by ingredients such as resource-saving YKK NATULON® zips and more environmentally friendly YKK buttons, which work with the base colour of the materials instead of applying a coating. 

Decorative elements such as rivets are deliberately omitted to ensure the longevity of the products. 

Packaging 

The company is also focussing on greater sustainability in the supply chain: the boxes and hangtags are made from FSC-certified paper and are reusable, recyclable and compostable. Polybags are not used at all.

Water usage & chemicals 

All textiles are free of chemicals and no physical adjustments are made that could reduce the durability of the products.

Circular product design 

Although Evermind focuses on more environmentally friendly materials, the textiles are mainly made from fibre blends. Although these optimise the comfort and fit of the denim jeans, they make recycling considerably more difficult.

Circular business models 

Evermind states that it does not currently have any take-back, repair or other circular business models, as the company operates primarily in the B2B sector and is therefore not currently relevant for them.

Transportation 

• Transport is mainly handled by ship and lorry, while air freight is only rarely used.

Evermind is PETA-certified, which means that the company consistently refrains from using animal materials and manufactures its products completely vegan in order to fulfil ethical standards. 

Product design 

Evermind embodies the idea of slow fashion by offering timeless men’s and women’s items with a focus on denim jeans in various colours and fits. Their products are season-independent and focus on quality and longevity rather than short-lived trends.

Every six months, they expand their existing collection with new products that are not only fashionable but also more resource-friendly.
