Christina Lundsteen also uses some animal-derived materials. Nappa leather is known for its soft texture and smooth finish. The leather undergoes a tanning process using agents like chromium or aluminium sulphate, which enhances its durability and longevity. Christina Lundsteen’s cushions are made from 100% cotton velvet. At COSH!, we’re pleased to see the use of monomaterials, because they are easier to recycle, supporting circularity. Given the composition of cushions, the separate components are easy to dismantle, enabling them to be separated and recycled accordingly.

PRODUCT DESIGN
