How to participate:

STEP 1: Download the app

• Download for IOS (Apple)
• Download for Android

STEP 2: Start digitising your wardrobe.
Take photos of your 10 favourite pieces (ideally 5 tops and 5 bottoms) and upload them.

STEP 3: Log your daily outfits.

• Wearing something that is not yet in your digital wardrobe? Snap a photo and add it!
• The app helps you discover new outfit combinations.
• Share your outfits on social media with screenshots, tag @cosh.digitalwardrobe and @cosh.eco for bonus entries!

STEP 4: Submit your challenge results.
On 31 January, email a screenshot of your calendar with all your outfits to digitalwardrobe@cosh.eco, or post it on your stories tagging @cosh.digitalwardrobe.

The winner will be selected randomly.

What is #NoBuy2025?

The #NoBuy2025 challenge, trending across social media and magazines, is promoted by influencers as THE resolution for the upcoming year. This global challenge forms a countermovement against overconsumption.

A no buy year refers to a year of no purchases for clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and more. This challenge helps you be more conscious of all the material possessions you have and can even foster your creativity!

Low Buy Year

Does a no-buy year sound a bit extreme for you? Then challenge yourself with a low buy year instead! This means limiting yourself to purchasing no more than five new clothing items in 2025. This way, you can save for that dream piece to add to your (digital) wardrobe. Make your purchases consciously — pay attention to the quality of the clothing and the sustainability efforts of the brand. No New Year! Say yes to secondhand!

Alternatively, you can go for a No New Year! This means skipping new clothing purchases entirely and opting for second-hand, pre-loved, and vintage treasures instead. The number of second-hand shops is steadily growing, thanks to the increasing interest in circular fashion.

Terms and conditions for the COSH! low/​no buy 2025 challenge competition

1. Organiser

The competition is organised by COSH! (“Organiser”), with its registered office in Belgium.

2. Participant eligibility

• Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and older residing in Europe.
• Employees of COSH!, its subsidiaries, and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.

3. Duration of the competition

• The competition runs from 1 January 2025, 00:00 CET to 31 January 2025, 23:59 CET.
• Entries received after this period will not be considered.

4. How to participate

To participate, you must:

• Download the COSH! Digital Wardrobe app via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Digitise your wardrobe by uploading at least 10 favourite clothing items (5 tops and 5 trousers/​skirts).
• Log your outfits daily in the app.
• Share screenshots of your outfits on Instagram, tag @cosh.digitalwardrobe and @cosh.eco, and use the campaign hashtag (e.g., #COSHNoBuyChallenge).
• Submit a screenshot of your completed outfit calendar by emailing digitalwardrobe@cosh.eco or posting it on your Instagram Stories while tagging @cosh.digitalwardrobe.

Each correctly completed step counts as one entry to the competition.

5. Winner selection

• The winner will be randomly selected on 5 February 2025 and announced in our first February newsletter (sign up here).
• The winner will be notified via a direct message on Instagram and/​or email.
• If the winner does not respond within 7 days, COSH! reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. Prize

• One winner will receive a COSH! Gift Card worth €250.
• The gift card can only be used at participating retailers in Belgium.
• Additional prizes may be announced during the challenge, offered by retail partners.

7. Data protection

• Participants’ address information will only be used for managing the competition and will not be shared with third parties, except for the delivery of prizes.
• By participating, you consent to COSH! using your Instagram handle and submitted photos for promotional purposes related to the competition.

8. General terms

• COSH! reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Attempts at manipulation or fraudulent participation will result in disqualification.
• By participating, you agree to these terms and to the decisions of COSH!, which are final and binding.

9. Governing law

• This competition is governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Belgium.
