‘I believe that everyone can be an inspiration.’
“The main reason I started working in the fashion industry was the chance to work with like-minded, inspiring people. Every day I come into contact with the most driven people who work every day for positive change. In times when I have less energy and see the future a little more bleak, I look around me at all these amazing people and feel grateful.” Chanel Trapman has been running her company MUMSTER for years, creating video campaigns for changemakers in the fashion industry. Because of the work Chanel does, she is also a source of inspiration herself.
Fashion activist and storyteller
Sara Dubbeldam has been working hard for years to inspire consumers to make more conscious choices through her blog When Sara Smiles. In addition, she is committed as a fashion activist to file lawsuits against large fast fashion giants such as Primark – and with success! She does this with great class and is therefore one of the most popular fashion activists of the moment. Her stories are always honest and come straight from her heart, but also show her expertise about more sustainable fashion.
Model, speaker and climate activist
Kiki Boreel used to be a model, but she increasingly struggled with her modeling work. Now she uses her looks and expertise for a better world as a climate activist. “If my looks help to get the climate story out there, why not?” She is the founder of the Sustainable Fashion Circle, a group of Dutch fashion activists who independently fight for a fairer and more sustainable fashion industry.

She started her own fashion label and worked for the Fair Wear Foundation. She now inspires many with her strong, funny and activist videos on Instagram, in which she highlights cultural differences and social inequality.

Style coach, wardrobe sessions and more sustainable shopping
A few years ago, Chiara Spruit started her COSH! interview with this killer quote: “Society emphasizes characteristics that make us insecure, so we keep buying clothes that we don’t really need in the hope that we will feel better.”
