COSH! POP-UP at the Conscious Fashion Store in Berlin

Dear Retailers,

We are delighted to announce a super exciting opportunity!

COSH! will host a 2‑month pop-up in the Conscious Fashion Store in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz from 15 MAY to 15 JULY. You can participate in this Pop-up with your brand for free. No commission on sales.

Say What? Yes! This is your chance to test your collections with a German audience at a frequently visited tourist location.

What is Included in the Pop-Up?

For each brand, you have the opportunity to display the products or garments you intend to sell. COSH! will handle the coordination of the Point of Sales materials.

Per entrepreneur, you can also take advantage of the full infrastructure:

There is on-site embroidery, a textile printing machine, and a repair centre. So, if you want to do a personalisation action, you can arrange this.
There is a workshop area, which can host 25 people.
6 sewing machines are present for your use. Thinking of offering workshops? You can!
There is an area with a big screen and seating for up to 90 people. Feeling like going on stage? You can host a panel discussion, a seminar, a lecture, or a movie screening in-store!
Your brand will be on display in the store. What a great chance to step into the German market, isn’t it? Feel free to invite stores from Berlin to do your B2B sales or meet up at the location with fellow entrepreneurs (e.g. from the COSH! network), get to know each other and form collaborations for post this pop-up. How cool would it be if you get a fixed point of Sales in Berlin after this pop-up?

Media and Exposure for Participating Brands

COSH! will create 1 press release by April 15^th.
COSH! will create 1 to 2 Instagram crossposts per brand for the P&C Conscious Store account and your brand (crossposting is mandatory).
COSH! will create 1 launch event on May 16^th, 2024, inviting all Berlin-based partners and press to the launch event in Berlin.
Most likely, Berlin Fashion Week will happen from 8 – 12 July, and we will host a second closing event (potentially in collaboration with Flanders Investment & Trade) during Berlin Fashion Week.
COSH! will communicate the event and its participating members in 2 newsletters going out to 17,000 newsletter subscribers.
Peek & Cloppenburg will include the pop-up and your brand in their newsletter to 70,000 subscribers in and around Berlin.
Peek & Cloppenburg might feature your brand on their website’s WE CARE TOGETHER page.

What Kind of Entrepreneurs Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a mix of fashion, interior products, ceramics, food, cosmetics, upcycling fashion, etc.
From previous Pop-Ups, they learned luxury brands or products over 400 euros per item don’t work well in the store.
Ideally, you have a Shopify store. They train their employees to help the customer check out via your webshop.
T‑shirts priced 30 Euro and up.
Sweaters between 50 – 80 Euro.
Jackets from 120 – 240 Euro.
Beauty, wellness and cosmetics
If something isn’t selling, you can replace the stock.

How Will Payments Work?

Do you need to pay a commission? No, you do not!
Ideally, we should have at least one Belgian or Dutch entrepreneur who establishes and oversees a cash register system for the entire pop-up event in Berlin, with a rotation system for managing the pop-up.
An alternative approach is to have Conscious Fashion Store staff assist customers with payments using your POS cash register system or through PayPal. The Shopify POS of independent brands has been successfully used at the Conscious Fashion Store. However, this method requires customers to complete two separate checkout processes if they purchase items from multiple brands. While not ideal, this method has been implemented before.

What Do We Expect From You?

You are responsible for conducting your own marketing efforts to draw more customers to the shop.
To minimise the time required from the COSH! team for organising this event, please participate in the webinar and stay updated through general communication.
Should you require more than an hour of assistance from the COSH! team, or if you need a COSH! team member to travel to the Berlin pop-up to resolve an issue on your behalf a fee of 40 Euros per hour will be charged.

How Can Your Company Take Part in This Rent-Free Pop-Up?

You are a COSH! member in 2023 ‑2024, and your membership is up for renewal in 2025.
You apply via the form below before January 20^th.
You have sufficient products available for 1 – 2 m² and you can restock if needed between 15 May – 15 July.
You send your high-resolution collection images via the form in time by the end of April.
