Co-founders and friends Aishwarya and Adhiraj are driven to show how luxury fashion can go without synthetic materials or chemical dyes, while also celebrating cultural art and local artists. This is why they founded JIWYA, or how they call it: The World’s First Artisanal, Purely Plant-Based, Luxury Brand.
JIWYA was born after months of research and travelling through their home country, India. Aishwarya and Adhiraj drove across 19 states, to connect with India’s divers heritage and art forms. These art forms and ancient crafts are often rooted in naturally sustainable ways, using plant-based materials. This connection between sustainability and cultural heritage forms the basis of the brand.
Every JIWYA item consists of these aspects:
