Sigrid Ellen Münzberg is the founder of Sekundär Schick, an upcycling atelier in Berlin, who made it her passion and purpose to revive unwanted textiles and impart her vast knowledge to enthusiasts of all ages, turning what’s discarded into cherished possessions.

From an early age, Sigrid was enchanted by the art of sewing, repairing, and crafting fashion to suit her unique taste. The tailor and fashion designer turned her back on the fashion industry, realising the negative impact clothing and its production has on our planet.
Since then, she has guided individuals in transforming neglected garments into beloved treasures, infusing each lesson with fun and purpose. Participants learn about the true cost of fashion and discover the joy of creativity and the pride of crafting something with their hands.
