At BEAUTY OAK, discarded textiles are given a second life. Near Berlin’s Müggelsee, fashion designer Jana Pfarr transforms pre-loved fabrics into high-quality clothing and accessories – all carefully crafted with a clear focus on style and durability.
Since becoming self-employed in 2021, Jana works mainly with 100% cotton or wool, preferably monomaterials, sourced from private donations, Textilhafen Berlin, and her own textile collection point. Zippers and threads are also secondhand. If anything is bought new, it must come with certifications.
Each piece is made in small series or on demand, and existing styles can be tailored to fit. Waste is reduced to a minimum: leftover fabrics become accessories, packaging is plastic-free, using recycled cardboard and paper tape.
Jana offers workshops for kids, adults, and companies – with a focus on appreciating resources and celebrating creativity. Her designs challenge conventional beauty standards and make room for individuality.
