Sisterhood Vintage is a jewellery label by Sako, originally from Japan and now based in Amsterdam.. After nearly a decade working in IT, Sako decided it was time for change.
It began with a chance find: on King’s Day, Sako discovered a pair of Milanese glass bead earrings. The beads were beautiful, but the metal parts had rusted. She bought them, took them apart, and rebuilt them into something new. The result? A unique, refreshed piece she proudly wore to work — and the start of Sisterhood Vintage.
For the past years, Sako has been selling her designs at local markets, including seasonal events. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, crafted from carefully curated vintage glass beads and pearls, combined with high-quality new components. She calls it giving a “sleeping beauty” new life.
Sisterhood Vintage pieces can never be replicated. Every bead is cleaned, restored, and chosen for its quality, character, and history. This process not only gives discarded treasures a second life, it also ensures your jewellery is truly unique — something no one else will ever own.
Sako is selective about where she sells. While many markets are oversaturated with mass-produced imports, Sisterhood Vintage focuses on venues and partnerships that value authentic, handmade design.
For Sako, jewellery is more than an accessory — it’s a way to connect past craftsmanship with today’s individuality. Each design carries a story from its vintage origins into your everyday life.
With no website yet, Sisterhood Vintage connects with customers through local markets, consignment spaces, and Instagram, where you can discover the latest creations. If you love jewellery with soul, made from materials that have lived before, Sisterhood Vintage offers something rare: pieces as unique as your own story.
