From September 28th to October 29th, you can visit the exhibition “De Zachte Stad” by designer Christien Meindertsma at De Hillevliet. She showcases what you can do with Rotterdam wool.
Commissioned by the municipality, designer Christien Meindertsma examined the quality, which exceeded all expectations: it’s not a worthless pile of waste. She has created beautiful products from it, ranging from tailored suits to woolen hats, blankets to upholstery fabrics for furniture, and even materials for pianos, among many other things.
