As the days get colder, MAAKbar’s HerfstSwap is back. Clear out your wardrobe, gather the autumn and winter clothes you no longer wear, and swap them for something new-to-you, no spending required.
Here’s how it works. On Friday 23 October, bring your clothes to MAAKbar between 12:00 and 18:00 and receive a points card in return. A fixed price list sets the number of points per item, for example 3 points for a T‑shirt. On Saturday 24 October, come shopping from 11:00 to 16:00 and pay with the points on your card. Short on points, or didn’t bring anything? You can pay with money instead, at the same rate: a T‑shirt is 3 points and costs €3. Any clothing that doesn’t find a new owner on Saturday is donated to ViTeS.
It’s also a chance to find original pieces and get to know MAAKbar’s creative community.
The swap runs entirely on volunteers, and extra helping hands are always welcome to help with drop-off and swapping. Interested? Email elke@maakbar.org.
