BOETIEK SYMPATHIEK is a monthly second-hand clothing boutique. The project began 18 years ago at the UPC Leuven Recovery Centre and is now moving to Hall 5. Due to a lack of space and the idea of setting up an activity outside the walls of the Recovery Centre, Hall 5 proved to be the ideal base for this concept!
For who?
Initially, it was a boutique for the people at the Recovery Centre, who could buy clothes at a low price. But now this wonderful range is also open to anyone who likes to buy sustainable clothing.
The boutique is run entirely by volunteers and visitors to the Herstelhuis, and all proceeds go towards supporting their work.
Where?
Main hall of Hal 5
Practical information
- Free entry.
- Are you a social customer at Het Perron, our community shop? Then you can buy the clothes at a very affordable price.
- No need to register, just pop in!
- Be sure to pop into the BUURTBAR (every Thursday from 6pm to 11pm) where the neighbours are manning the bar for the occasion, so we can offer drinks at lower prices and make our bar more accessible to everyone!
