Galerie CEBRA in Düsseldorf’s Altstadt invites visitors to the opening of SERENITY – Gelassenheit, a summer exhibition bringing together 31 jewellery designers from a wide range of cultures, all exploring the theme of calm and stillness through their work. The result is a rich and varied collection of pieces crafted from an unexpected mix of materials: glass, aluminium, found objects and Tahitian pearls all feature among the works on display. This travelling exhibition has already made stops across different countries, and Galerie CEBRA is proud to host its next chapter.
Curator Luis Acosta, travelling from the Netherlands, will be present at the opening to introduce the collection and share insights into the concept behind it. After the opening night, SERENITY remains on view as an ongoing exhibition, giving visitors plenty of time to return, take a closer look and reflect on the theme at their own pace. Whether you’re drawn to design, craftsmanship or simply looking for a moment of quiet inspiration in the city, this exhibition offers something worth lingering over.
