Spring is here and if you are also in the mood for new outfits this swap event is for you! This time, Kleiderei is partnering up with different organisations and friends to do the famous SWAT IT! event on a grand scale at the Rufffactory in Cologne Ehrenfeld.
Bring the clothes you won´t be wearing anymore and swap them with your next favourite pieces. Because the longer the life of an item of clothing lasts, the less impact it has on the environment. Besides the clothes to swap, there will be a repair and upcycling corner, screen printing and dying station, drinks/food and lots of information about sustainable fashion.
Just bring 5 – 10 items of clothing, bags, shoes, jewellery and accessories that are in good condition. (Underwear and hosiery are excluded)
Use the day to exchange ideas, network – and of course share the fun of fashion and take new clothes home with you.
Any clothes that are left over at the end will be donated to the partner, the German Kleiderstiftung, which uses them for humanitarian aid.
