Ever wanted to try spinning wool? Studio Stik invites visitors to drop by and give it a go for Worldwide Spin in Public Day. Pick a tuft of wool and get guided through the first steps of spinning your own thread.
There’s also plenty to learn about different types of wool along the way, plus the chance to browse a specially curated selection of wool jumpers from the Kringwinkel, picked just for the day.
Studio Stik is an open textile workshop inside the Kringwinkel on Sint-Jakobsstraat in Bruges, a space for anyone who enjoys getting creative with needle and thread, whether that means mending, restyling, or turning old textiles into something new. It’s an initiative of Kringwinkel ‘t Rad and De Republiek, in collaboration with Avansa regio Brugge.
