A First Village Day Full of Play and Wonder
On 25 October, K‑Deetje hosts the very first edition of its Village Day in Oostkamp. The store promises an afternoon full of fun, wonder, connection, creativity and play. Bieke from Höngry joins to read from her newest book, “In de puree,” which — true to the Höngry books — carries a lovely message that ties in with what the store stands for.
Visitors can enjoy free play throughout the afternoon: sensory play, open-ended materials, a barefoot path, and a Kapla building corner. Several creative workshops are also on offer, including printing your own tote bag. Children collect an individual workshop card upon arrival with their ticket. Siblings under 2 are welcome free of charge but do not take part in the workshops.
Drinks and waffles are available at the Village bar throughout the day. K‑Deetje’s toy shop, just nearby, will also be open that afternoon for anyone who wants to combine a visit — a great moment to browse for the end-of-year gifts.
