SHIFT – The Microfactory offers an immersive 5‑day programming workshop for anyone ready to master the technical language of industrial knitwear — from stitch logic to production-ready files. Held at VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub at BIKINI Berlin, this hands-on intensive covers how STOLL flat-bed knitting machines work, introduces Create Plus / M1plus software, and guides participants through building their own stitch files and testing swatches on Stoll ADF machines.
Whether you’re a fashion designer, a knitwear professional transitioning from manual to digital, or a brand manager seeking more control over outsourced production, SHIFT creates the conditions to connect design thinking with machine logic — sustainably and with lasting impact.
Participation is €1,290 (net), includes machines, materials, and a 1‑year VORN Community Pass, and is fully tax-deductible. Solo self-employed professionals based in Germany can apply for 90% funding — up to €4,500.
