The idea behind the Zoom meeting is to discuss the online course “Drafting the Puff Reach Sleeve” in detail and learn some additional tricks. This is your chance to ask questions.
The base for this Zoom call is the online course that teaches you how to sew the “Puff Reach” sleeve from Stokx Patterns. The puff reach sleeve is gathered at the shoulder and has an elasticated finish at the wide hem of the sleeve. It is an interesting project for experienced sewers to practise their skills. The video tutorial demonstrates 2 methods of pattern fitting: the slide method and the bias method.
The starting point is the reach sleeve from the Eve/Evelyn or Birdy pattern from Stokx. The video also discusses how you can create your own version: higher, more gathered or a long version. You can talk about this more in this Zoom chat.
