Turn Book Pages into Your New Favourite Bag
NochMall, Berlin’s first department store for secondhand goods, is bringing back its collage workshop. In Collage 2 Go: Shopping Bag Deluxe, you choose pages from NochMall’s large collection of old books, along with packaging material, and arrange them into a collage of your own. You then transfer the design onto a cotton bag using simple melting and transfer techniques. The steps are easy to follow, so beginners are just as welcome as experienced crafters. You go home with a one of a kind bag for everyday use, or a handmade gift for someone special.
Beyond its workshops, NochMall sells used furniture, clothing, books, electrical appliances and household goods on more than 2,000 m² in the Berlin district of Reinickendorf. Its programme also includes repair cafés, talks and readings on reuse and waste prevention.
