A Feast of Fabrics, Ribbons and Reclaimed Treasures
Step up to a beautifully curated material buffet filled with fabrics, buttons, ribbons and reclaimed treasures. Visitors choose what catches their eye, experiment with colour and texture, and turn their finds into a personal detail for a piece of clothing, a bag or an accessory.
Part material library, part styling installation, this is a textile treasure hunt where every “dish” on the table is an invitation. Come with an idea already in mind, or come with none at all. Pick what speaks to you, or let one of the prompts guide the way. Everyone leaves with a one-of-one piece made by their own hands, in a space designed to slow down and reconnect with material and making.
This edition takes place at Lillimendelssohn, a Berlin knitwear label known for its distinctive use of colour, beautiful yarns and timeless design. No skills and no pressure required: just good materials, good company, and a little time away from the screen. Joining you there: Tina Steinke, a stylist from Berlin, who will be on hand to guide you with her expertise and her eye for good design.
