Repair, Reimagine, Restyle: Open Studio at Blindhed
Blindhed, the textile and art studio in Kreuzberg, opens its doors for a shared Open Studio with Madame Unikat and stylist Tina Steinke of Kleiderordnung. Expect hand-painted wearable art, visible and invisible jeans repairs, creative customisations, curated secondhand pieces and styling inspiration all under one roof.
The afternoon puts styling front and centre with Tina Steinke, who brings a hand-picked selection of secondhand and flea market finds. She’ll show how unique, pre-loved pieces can be combined and restyled in fresh, unexpected ways. That is proof that a great wardrobe doesn’t have to start from scratch. Alongside her rail, a Clothes Swap Rack invites visitors to bring along well-kept garments and trade them for something new-to-them.
Aurelie from Madame Unikat joins with hand-painted garments and offers small, individual customisations directly on site, while Blindhed itself opens up its repair world: try on repaired jeans, one-of-a-kind hand-painted pieces and textile artworks, and find out more about repair and textile transformation techniques.
Come by, browse, try things on, swap, and get inspired. A relaxed afternoon dedicated to giving worn clothing a new chapter.
