From May 4 to 9, Tim Van Steenbergen is selling archive pieces at REantwerp. The proceeds will go entirely to the operation of the social and sustainable atelier.
From May 4 to 9, 2026, REantwerp opens its doors for a special Summer Archive Sale by Tim Van Steenbergen. For six days, the public can visit the REantwerp atelier and shop for a selection of archive pieces from the designer’s previous collections. The proceeds from this sale will go entirely to the operation of REantwerp, the social and sustainable fashion atelier and label that Tim founded together with Ruth Goossens and GATAM vzw.
For Tim Van Steenbergen, this archive sale means more than just a look back. Under his own name, he built an impressive career within Belgian fashion for over twenty years. His work was characterized by a love for the craft. His refined signature — sculptural silhouettes, strong cuts, and a subtle sense of color and material — created a rare balance between elegance, wearability, and emotion. His designs exude softness and strength simultaneously, with a poetic layering that has always remained recognizable.
With REantwerp, Tim consciously chose to embark on a new chapter. He discontinued his label under his own name to apply his experience, vision, and craftsmanship within a project that connects fashion with social impact. Together with journalist Ruth Goossens and social partner GATAM vzw, he is building a workshop in Antwerp where newcomers and refugees with a background in textiles can further develop their talents.
They work exclusively with leftover fabrics from Belgian designers and international luxury labels. With these, handmade pieces are created that are available only in limited editions — giving each item a unique and exclusive character.
The Summer Archive Sale brings both worlds together in a special way: the past of a designer with a distinctive oeuvre and the future of a workshop committed to sustainable fashion and talent development. Visitors will not only discover archive pieces by Tim Van Steenbergen but will also directly support the further expansion of REantwerp. Practical:
