Workshop: Patchwork Atelier Heimat
Would you also like to learn how to make something beautiful with scraps of fabric, needle, and thread? Eager to discover the sewing machine and hand quilting? Sign up for a patchwork workshop, and you will go home with a handmade mini-quilt, a new skill, and lots of inspiration.
What will you learn in half a day?
You will create a patchwork design (35 x 35 cm) and learn how to sew it together using the sewing machine (no worries, everyone can sew straight). You will learn the basics of hand quilting with needle and thread, and you will finish your mini-quilt with a handmade binding. You don’t need any prior knowledge, just a craving for slow handiwork.
What is included?
- Use of materials, sewing machine, and scraps.
- If you have fabrics lying around that you would like to work with, feel free to bring them along!
- Tea and cookies
They make it cozy in a small group, max 6 people.
