From September 1 to October 19, OBA is hosting drop-in sessions for the independent use of sewing machines at various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. During these seven weeks, participants can access sewing machines at these four locations during two weekly time slots — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) and/or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials like sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small selection of patterns. Participants can work on their own projects independently! A supervisor will be on hand to assist if required.
