OBA is hosting drop-in sessions from September 1 to October 19 for independent sewing machine use at several maker spaces in its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Over these seven weeks, people can use sewing machines at these four locations during two designated time slots per week: weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location is equipped with three sewing machines, an overlock machine, and basic supplies such as sewing thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants are welcome to work independently on their projects! A supervisor will be on hand during each session to offer support if needed.
