Are you curious about all the things you can do with clothes and textiles? Come along to ‘Fashion, Making & Craft’ at Vrouw & Vaart!
During this enjoyable afternoon, you can get hands-on with textiles, discover new techniques and meet local makers from Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Take part in creative workshops and activities focusing on clothing repairs, reuse, upcycling and various textile techniques. Discover how you can give old clothes and materials a new lease of life and be inspired by the knowledge and creativity of local makers. The programme ties in with Wear for Life and demonstrates in a practical way how clothes can last longer.
You can also view work created within the Groot West Textile Network and discover just how much exceptional craftsmanship can be found in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary: pop in, join in and be inspired!
