Weaving Workshop Series: Tapestry – Summer Edition

This is a course (4 x 3 hrs) in which you will work on a XXL ​“hand” loom. In this class you will learn to work on this loom, while creating your own tapestry! This tapestry can really be used on the table, but is also nice as an art piece on the wall.

All materials are included in this course. The materials we use are natural. The warp is set up with organic cotton and linen and you can use (local) wool while weaving as well. It is a creative course in which you can learn different stitches and combine different colors and textures to create a truly personal item. In the first class you will create your own loom with basic materials and you will create a composition for your work. In the end we will create a tapestry.
