WORKING CONDITIONS & WAGES

All Muuble products are entirely made in the Netherlands. By working exclusively with local partners and manufacturers, the company ensures short supply chains, high transparency, and minimal environmental impact. 

Muuble collaborates with a small number of fixed suppliers in close proximity, allowing for direct communication and regular site visits. This enables Muuble to verify that European standards for safety, fairness, and transparency are consistently met. The products are created in cooperation with professional Dutch manufacturing companies.

The HPL panels used come from certified, legal wood sources and are produced in facilities committed to renewable energy, safer chemical management, and closed material loops in line with EU environmental and occupational safety standards.

MATERIALS

• Steel (approx. 90 – 95% recycled, fully reusable, long lifespan)
• Stainless steel (RVS) (approx. 60 – 70% recycled, corrosion-resistant and durable)
• Aluminium (approx. 70% recycled, lightweight, durable, fully reusable)
• HPL panels from certified wood sources and recycled wood residues, focused on closed material cycles
• Powder coating (solvent- and water-free, durable, eco-friendly; excess powder reused)

Steel, stainless steel, and aluminium are notable for their longevity and closed recycling loops, resulting in minimal material loss. 
The HPL panels are derived from certified, legal wood sources containing recycled wood residues. 
Powder coating is considered an environmentally friendly process as it uses no solvents or water, and any excess material is collected and reused.

PACKAGING

Muuble products are delivered flat-packed and stackable, ensuring efficient use of space in both e‑commerce and logistics, which reduces packaging material and transport emissions. For international shipments, packages are kept as compact as possible to minimise waste and empty space. However, Muuble does not specify which packaging materials are used.

WATER USAGE & CHEMICALS

• All Muuble products are produced and assembled within the same region in the Netherlands, keeping transport routes between partners and storage facilities short. Regional logistics partners handle transport, reducing CO₂ emissions and supporting efficient coordination.
• For deliveries, Muuble works with Dutch logistics companies focusing on route efficiency and more sustainable transport solutions. Flat-packed, stackable furniture reduces waste and the number of shipments. For larger projects, delivery and installation are done in a single trip to minimise additional transport.

Muuble uses no animal-derived materials.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Muuble offers retail furniture, including wall and clothing racks, counters, display tables, and recycling units. The products feature flexible, modular designs that adapt to different shop layouts and retail concepts.

SLOW FASHION PROCESSES
