Does your heart beat faster from words such as handmade, craft and slow fashion? So does the one of Ineke Van Den Broeck. And that since she could hold a needle. Her grandmother taught her the tricks of the trade and so many years later is still like a right hand for Inneke. With her brand MMOI, she designs bridal and casual clothing that the customer fits like a glove. This is not only due to the fact that she makes it to measure, but also to the knowledge of styling that Inneke gives to her customers. At MMOI you can not only go for the perfect wedding dress or a trendy outfit, but also for an adapted style concept.

From needle to thread

Since 2019 Ineke introduced the bridal collection. Like all other collections of MMOI, it is completely handmade in the studio in Zottegem. The fabrics she works with are: organic cotton, linen, hemp, tencel and cotton textile remnants, that come from Europe. The buttons are also durable, because they have already had a previous life on another piece of clothing. MMOI is therefore not only made in Belgium and made to measure, but also wonderfully durable. There is a small use of elastane, but that is to extend the life span and stretchability of a garment.

With MMOI, Ineke likes to remain transparent about her materials and where they come from: “Everyone has the right to know how and where a product is made. The more you know about something, the more you will handle it with care.”
