From needle to thread
Since 2019 Ineke introduced the bridal collection. Like all other collections of MMOI, it is completely handmade in the studio in Zottegem. The fabrics she works with are: organic cotton, linen, hemp, tencel and cotton textile remnants, that come from Europe. The buttons are also durable, because they have already had a previous life on another piece of clothing. MMOI is therefore not only made in Belgium and made to measure, but also wonderfully durable. There is a small use of elastane, but that is to extend the life span and stretchability of a garment.
With MMOI, Ineke likes to remain transparent about her materials and where they come from: “Everyone has the right to know how and where a product is made. The more you know about something, the more you will handle it with care.”
