Most of the garments are made of GOTS-certified organic cotton. When using non-natural materials, Mini Rodini does opt for GRS-certified recycled materials. What is GRS? It stands for Global Recycle Standard, an international voluntary product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chronological documentation, social and environmental practices including chemical restrictions.
Ethical Mini Rodini
Because the natural materials carry a GOTS certificate, we at COSH! can be sure of the good working conditions. The producers of Mini Rodini are located in India and Turkey. Since 2014 Mini Rodini has been applying the Living Wage project to these factories. This allows the brand to check where there are still gaps in the payroll system and how they can fill them. The money that Mini Rodini uses for this comes from their own pocket. There are fair wages for all employees. Mini Rodini is also an active member of the Fair Wear Foundation and has Leader status. This means that 91% of the factories the brand works with are monitored.
