Ben & Anna state that all their products use ingredients of natural origin only, and all their ingredients are vegan and microplastic-free. All their products are certified by NaTRUE, which guarantees that the products only contain natural and organic ingredients. 

Packaging

Ben & Anna state that they use paper tubes for their deodorants, glass jars for their toothpaste and tooth-powder, and recycled aluminium for their shower gel packaging. Their shampoo bars and flakes are also more sustainably packaged in cardboard. 

Ben & Anna state that their only product made from plastic is their shower gel dispenser. This is, however, reusable, and the company explains that a glass alternative would be unsafe. 

Water usage

As all Ben & Anna products are 100% certified natural cosmetics, the potential for water pollution is reduced. Likewise, Ben & Anna state that their products are free from microplastics.

Circular packaging design

Ben & Anna state that all their packaging is recyclable or biodegradable, and they also use recycled aluminium to package their shower gels. 

Ben & Anna do not offer a refill or take back service for used containers. They recommend using the glass jars for decoration or storage, or recycling them. 

Distance & complexity of the supply chain

Ben & Anna do not provide details on their supply chain, including who their suppliers are or where their ingredients are sourced from. This makes it difficult to determine the complexity of their supply chain. 

Ben & Anna headquarters are located in Germany. They offer shipping within Europe. 

Transportation

Ben & Anna does not disclose what transportation methods are used in their supply chain or for e‑commerce. 

Ben & Anna state that their products have not been tested on animals, and do not contain any animal-derived ingredients. All their products are registered with the Vegan Society, and are PETA Approved.

Ben & Anna aims for inclusivity in their products, offering sensitive deodorant sticks which are free from bicarbonate of soda, making them ideal for those with sensitive skin. They also state that their deodorant can be used by men and women alike, and offer different scents to suit your preferences.
