The family business launched in the late nineties from the need to create something. In the middle of nature, in the south of Poland, where sheep graze in the mountains, ALWERO finds the unique raw material it’s all about: wool.

All products are produced in their own factory, ensuring compliance with strict EU labour guidelines, fair working conditions, and respect for workers’ rights. By keeping production local, Alwero contributes to the prosperity of its community and ensures an ethical production chain, from wool extraction to the final product.

ALWERO products are made from 100% wool, without the addition of synthetic fibres, and are proudly certified with the Woolmark certificate.

The inspection process for obtaining the Woolmark certificate is thorough and covers various stages of the production process to ensure all standards are met. This process is designed to guarantee the integrity and quality of woollen products, from the sheep farm to the final product.

The products are handmade in their own cutting and sewing workshops in Poland, where they combine traditional craftsmanship and technical innovation.

Products made from 100% wool are circular, which makes them exceptionally sustainable. Wool is a natural fibre that is fully biodegradable. Moreover, wool is renewable; sheep produce a new coat each year, providing a continuous source of material without depleting the planet.
