For several centuries we have been wearing underwear, or most people do. We also like it to be comfortable. This is certainly the case at Green Zoo. Why is that? Very simple, the Belgian brand uses the soft fabric bamboo to make the underwear. Nice and comfortable.
But what makes the product sustainable? Bamboo is seen as a material that consumes less water than, for example, growing cotton. In addition, no pesticides are used in the cultivation of bamboo. Unfortunately, a heavy chemical process is often required to soften a bamboo fibre sufficiently for it to be used as a fabric. It is therefore very good that Green Zoo uses a closed-loop production method so that no chemicals are discharged into nature during this process. It is also a fast-growing plant that can be harvested three times a year. We did ask Green Zoo if the bamboo comes from sustainable forestry. We are still waiting for confirmation.
Where the underwear is made is unclear. We, therefore, sent this question along with the previous one. A little more transparency would certainly be allowed.
Light, breathable and comfortable underwear for men, women and children? That's what you find at Green Zoo. Basics, underwear and shirts in the softest fabric: bamboo. Look below where you can find this brand.
