Circoolar

Circoolar is especially careful in the choice of the place where they make their garments.

That is why, when the volume allows it, they make their garments in km0 social workshops for labour insertion at a national level that work especially with women at risk of social exclusion and people at risk of exclusion. Their workshops include Fundación ARED, Fundación Roure, Ellas lo Bordan, Proyecto Hilanderas, Top Manta, among others. 

When the volume of work is greater, they turn to professional workshops in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with decent working conditions. 

All Circoolar products are made from recycled and eco-friendly fabrics. 

Most of their garments are made from polyester obtained from recycled PET bottles or regenerated garments, and from organic cotton, or regenerated cotton (the thread extracted from other pre- and post-consumer garments).

Currently it is very difficult to guarantee full traceability of plastic waste. But we can say that they can come from pre-consumer (for example, wastage in factories or bottling plants) or post-consumer (the bottles we recycle in the yellow bin)

Circoolar’s suppliers have recognised industry seals and certifications such as the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Global Recycled Standard (GRS), or Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for organic cotton.

Circoolar’s raison d’être is circular sustainability, based on not generating waste.

Their circular vision leads them to always use ecological raw materials such as organic or regenerated cotton, or other recycled fabrics, always ensuring their subsequent recycling. 

They have a collection service for garments at the end of their useful life. Thanks to the fact that they ​“return” to their hands by contract or through a renting system, they guarantee the delivery of these garments to textile recycling plants where a second life is ensured and, therefore, the generation of zero waste. 

Circoolar also offers creative and impactful solutions to old textile waste.

They transform the textile labour waste into 100% traceable felt or regenerated yarn and fabric to make new clothing or household items; or merchandising elements.

The result at the end of the process, zero waste!

90% of workwear orders were made in Km0 social workshops for social insertion and women’s empowerment. In addition, 90% of its suppliers are located less than 300km from its customers, thus shortening the chain and environmental impacts linked to transport and promoting the proximity economy.

Circoolar is not aware that animal products are used in its fabrics. 

The recycled fabrics used in Circoolar have the same quality and durability as any fabric that has been made with ​“virgin” raw material, such as virgin polyester that comes from petroleum. The only difference is that the process of elaboration of the thread starts from the plastic pellets coming from plastic bottles and not from petroleum. In this way, they achieve a product of similar quality, reducing and recovering waste at source and, of course, facilitating a second life after its use.

In addition, Circoolar includes a repair or replacement service for the garments, adapting to the needs of the clients!
