Cir­coo­lar is espe­ci­al­ly careful in the choice of the place whe­re they make their garments.

That is why, when the volu­me allows it, they make their garm­ents in km0 social work­shops for labour inser­ti­on at a natio­nal level that work espe­ci­al­ly with women at risk of social exclu­si­on and peo­p­le at risk of exclu­si­on. Their work­shops include Fund­ación ARED, Fund­ación Rou­re, Ellas lo Bord­an, Proyec­to Hil­an­de­ras, Top Man­ta, among others. 

When the volu­me of work is grea­ter, they turn to pro­fes­sio­nal work­shops in Spain, Por­tu­gal and Moroc­co, with decent working conditions. 

All Cir­coo­lar pro­ducts are made from recy­cled and eco-fri­end­ly fabrics. 

Most of their garm­ents are made from poly­es­ter obtai­ned from recy­cled PET bot­t­les or rege­ne­ra­ted garm­ents, and from orga­nic cot­ton, or rege­ne­ra­ted cot­ton (the thread extra­c­ted from other pre- and post-con­su­mer garments).

Curr­ent­ly it is very dif­fi­cult to gua­ran­tee full tracea­bi­li­ty of pla­s­tic was­te. But we can say that they can come from pre-con­su­mer (for exam­p­le, was­ta­ge in fac­to­ries or bot­t­ling plants) or post-con­su­mer (the bot­t­les we recy­cle in the yel­low bin)

Cir­coo­lar’s sup­pli­ers have reco­g­nis­ed indus­try seals and cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­ons such as the OEKO-TEX® Stan­dard 100, Glo­bal Recy­cled Stan­dard (GRS), or Glo­bal Orga­nic Tex­ti­le Stan­dard (GOTS) for orga­nic cotton.

Cir­coo­lar’s rai­son d’êt­re is cir­cu­lar sus­taina­bi­li­ty, based on not gene­ra­ting was­te.

Their cir­cu­lar visi­on leads them to always use eco­lo­gi­cal raw mate­ri­als such as orga­nic or rege­ne­ra­ted cot­ton, or other recy­cled fabrics, always ensu­ring their sub­se­quent recycling. 

They have a coll­ec­tion ser­vice for garm­ents at the end of their useful life. Thanks to the fact that they ​“return” to their hands by con­tract or through a ren­ting sys­tem, they gua­ran­tee the deli­very of the­se garm­ents to tex­ti­le recy­cling plants whe­re a second life is ensu­red and, the­r­e­fo­re, the gene­ra­ti­on of zero waste. 

Cir­coo­lar also offers crea­ti­ve and impactful solu­ti­ons to old tex­ti­le waste.

They trans­form the tex­ti­le labour was­te into 100% traceable felt or rege­ne­ra­ted yarn and fabric to make new clot­hing or house­hold items; or mer­chan­di­sing elements.

The result at the end of the pro­cess, zero waste!

90% of work­wear orders were made in Km0 social work­shops for social inser­ti­on and women’s empower­ment. In addi­ti­on, 90% of its sup­pli­ers are loca­ted less than 300km from its cus­to­mers, thus shor­tening the chain and envi­ron­men­tal impacts lin­ked to trans­port and pro­mo­ting the pro­xi­mi­ty eco­no­my.

Cir­coo­lar is not awa­re that ani­mal pro­ducts are used in its fabrics.

The recy­cled fabrics used in Cir­coo­lar have the same qua­li­ty and dura­bi­li­ty as any fabric that has been made with ​“vir­gin” raw mate­ri­al, such as vir­gin poly­es­ter that comes from petro­le­um. The only dif­fe­rence is that the pro­cess of ela­bo­ra­ti­on of the thread starts from the pla­s­tic pel­lets coming from pla­s­tic bot­t­les and not from petro­le­um. In this way, they achie­ve a pro­duct of simi­lar qua­li­ty, redu­cing and reco­ve­ring was­te at source and, of cour­se, faci­li­ta­ting a second life after its use.

In addi­ti­on, Cir­coo­lar includes a repair or repla­ce­ment ser­vice for the garm­ents, adap­ting to the needs of the clients!
