Iah creates sustainable garments in small and limited productions. Sonia is the creator of Iah, and together with her colleague Yadira, she created the brand Iah in 2019, with the aim of creating clothes that take care of ourselves, our bodies and the planet. At Iah, they want you to feel comfortable in their clothes.
All garments are designed and made locally and with the best possible materials, with the utmost respect for people, nature and the environment.
Behind the Iah brand is Sonia, a young woman who decided to become self-employed to start this small life project.
Sonia works with her colleague and seamstress Yadira. Yadira is passionate about the natural, the simple and the beautiful; about design, art and fashion. Together, they create unique and creative pieces with their own sewing machines in Valencia.
Yadira learned to sew, embroider and knit by hand at a very young age, but it wasn’t until 10 years later that she started making dresses for her and her best friend’s graduation ceremonies; from then on she couldn’t stop. For another 10 years, she worked in both her professional career and dressmaking, until finally, after meeting Iah Brand, she decided to make dressmaking her main job.
