The Repair Café is not an ordinary repair service; it is a vibrant meeting place where everyone is welcome. Voluntary people from Hasselt are ready to help you with clothes, electronics, furniture, computers and bicycles. Reduce waste whilst making new friends, because the Repair Café is also a social event. Over a fresh cup of coffee, you will get to know your neighbours better. Each week at a different location:
First Wednesday of the month, 14:00 – 17:00 in Kuringen
Second Saturday of the month, 13:00 – 15:00 at OC Heilig Kruis, Runkst
Third Saturday of the even months, 10:00 – 12:00 at Stedelijke Basisschool, Kermt
Fourth Saturday of the month, 10:00 – 12:00 in Vrijzinnig Punt, Hasselt centre
You don’t need to make an appointment to visit the Repair Café. Just drop by during the designated times and you will be helped along. A small contribution may be asked in addition to purchase supplementary materials. If a required part is missing, you will be given helpful tips on where to find it!
