Whether simple blousons, soft skirts or delicate porcelain earrings – at Pia Heise, every piece is lovingly designed and can be combined in various ways.
Instead of collections, Pia favours small, fine drops: she sews many items in her studio, while some are made in a family-run factory in Poland – always with an eye on quality and style.
Her fabrics come from deadstock stocks: Cotton, viscose, or wool come from German sewing workshops or overproduction. She even buys buttons and zips locally.
Her jewellery is particularly eye-catching, made from broken porcelain from old collectors’ cups. What used to be in the cupboard now shines as a ring, necklace or brooch.
You can find her designs online or in the showroom in Düsseldorf, which you can visit by appointment. Alterations or repairs? No problem.
Pia Heise’s pieces are shipped plastic-free in reused cardboard boxes – for less waste and more joy.
