The Acquired is the first ever digital wardrobe app in the Benelux! The app helps you to organise your wardrobe, get the best out of it and extend your clothing’s life cycle. Founder Lynn Mikolajczak came up with the idea of building a digital wardrobe app when she stumbled upon the negative impact of clothing on the environment. We all throw away too many garments and according to Lynn, we’re not using our wardrobe efficiently enough. The Acquired changes that: it promises to revolutionise the way we shop, manage our closets and dress ourselves.
How does it work?
You start by taking pictures of your clothes, from which The Acquired creates a practical overview. With that, you can make lists of outfits for special occasions, seasons, or travels. What’s also unique about the app, is that you can check your statistics: you can track how many times an item or an outfit is being worn. Are you curious to learn more about your personal style? You can take the built-in quiz, after which you’ll also get completely automated and personalised recommendations for new outfits. When one of your handbags or shoes needs some extra love, you can book a repair service through the app.
