At the front of the store, you’ll find curated children’s clothing; at the back, a carefully selected vintage collection for adults. Around 10% of the items have been upcycled, reworked, re-dyed or altered in-house by Hanne herself in collaboration with other makers – a proportion she hopes to increase as the collection evolves. Customers can also bring in their own quality clothing in exchange for gift vouchers. A selection of Lapsi pieces is also available at Borgerhub in Antwerp.
Lapsi is a stone’s throw from Antwerp Central Station and is open from Wednesday to Saturday. Hanne regularly brings the community together: swap evenings, public repair sessions with a large table for anyone who wants to come and repair clothes, and more.
